Stilts are now a widely used tool for plastering ceilings and higher walls. They work as an extension to the bottom half of the led allowing you to retain stability whilst working at a higher level.
Watching someone trying to plaster for the first time on stilts is great fun. They wobble a lot and the quality of finish isn’t great, but once they get used to them they are like an extension to the body.
Stilts allow the freedom of movement whilst not having to deck out a room which can take time and effort.
We are big fans of stilts here at Pure Plastering in Cheltenham and we are used to them too now ….. so no wobbles and nice smooth plastered finishes.
